Akshay Sriprasad

Akshay Sriprasad is a Product Manager at Google, where he’s focused on helping cities mitigate their climate impact through geospatial insights/analytics. He’s dedicated his career to the development and commercialization of transformative frontier technologies, having supported business development/go-to-market efforts at X, The Moonshot Factory, led energy systems AI research projects as an NSF IGERT Fellow while at UT Austin, and consulted for the Austin Technology Incubator and Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (Mexico). Akshay loves engaging with product-obsessed founders who want to leave a positive mark through their work (like he does!) and enjoys morning meditation, long runs and surfing in Costa Rica every chance he gets.
Akshay holds an MBA from Columbia Business School (where he graduated with Dean’s Honors with Distinction), an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. (with Honors) in Chemical Engineering from The University of Arizona, where he received a full-ride merit scholarship.
David DePalma
Co-Founder & Partner
David DePalma has a 15 year career in finance focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital market origination, derivatives trading, asset allocations and has been active in transaction sourcing, processing and execution. He previously was a private equity investor at an aerospace, defense, and intelligence-focused $500mm family office, where he championed the funding and growth of mission-driven companies (e.g. in partnership with Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Fund.) In addition, David is a Techstars mentor, supporting founders and providing advice and network access. David’s passion is discovering future leaders and reinforcing and inspiring their vision.
David holds a B.A in both Economics and Anthropology from Connecticut College where he served as team captain of the Men’s Ice Hockey team. He currently holds FINRA securities licenses 7, 63, and 4.
Adi Prasad
Advisor
Adi Prasad has over 10 years of investing experience in public and early/growth stage private companies. His focus areas include tech & internet companies at J Soros, Citadel and Torch Capital. During his public equity career, he helped run portfolios of greater than $500m within US and global tech/internet. He enjoys thinking through big-picture problems and tech/societal trends to identify and fund paradigm-changing companies. His favorite thinkers include Ray Kurzweil, Nick Bostrom, Arthur C Clarke, Sam Harris, Andrew Huberman and Ben Thompson. He practices transcendental meditation, enjoys kick boxing/power lifting and listening to vintage BBC radio dramas.
Adi holds an MBA from Columbia Business School (Value Investing Program), an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a CFA charter. He was a former board member of the Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), UK.
